CHEN KOK SING
Executive Officer, IM Flash Singapore, LLP
Chen Kok Sing is the Managing Director of IM Flash Singapore, LLP, with more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Kok Sing began his career at Texas Instruments (TI) Singapore in 1984. In 1991, he joined TECH Semiconductor as a member of the start-up team and held various positions of responsibility including Fab Manager and Vice President of Operations.
With the formation of IM Flash Singapore in 2007, Kok Sing was selected as the IMFS Managing Director by the Micron and Intel Board-of-Managers and has played a key role in the construction, staffing and mobilization of the manufacturing facility. In his role as Managing Director, Kok Sing oversees the execution of the Joint Venture (JV) business plan, development of Organizational Excellence, and chairs key committees.
Kok Sing holds a First Class Honors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom. He also has contributed to Singapore as Senior Lieutenant Colonel in the Singapore Armed Forces as a National Serviceman and has held key command positions such as the 54th Singapore Armor Brigade 2nd In-Command and Commanding Officer of the 425th Singapore Armor Regiment.
